White Cake From Scratch. Combine egg whites, milk and vanilla extract. Combine milk, oil and extracts and set aside.
Remove the cake/s from the oven. Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl. In the bowl of your mixer add the dry ingredients, sugar, flour, salt and baking powder.
Combine the dry ingredients (except the flour) in a large mixing bowl or the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.
Add milk, little by little until consistency is right.
To the bowl of stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or in a large bowl with an electric hand mixer, add the butter and sugar, beat until light and fluffy. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cake flour, baking powder, and salt.
